Entry #2 Mini Destination Bucket List

Well, I'd like to write about what places I want to travel to one day. This will be my personal bucket list I'll share. In the previous entry, I wrote about my love for learning, which I have even turned into a hobby when I am not doing it for serious reasons. Anyways, I talked about how I have picked up a love for learning music that I can worship to in other people's languages. It makes me feel united with different people and cultures I have never met, having being here in the desert of Arizona. It's a great feeling, and I have accumulated a playlist full of different languages. This leads me to this next entry as to where I would like to actually travel to one day. Many of the languages that I have listened to worship music in are actually not just languages I like to hear, but also the native countries of these languages, I would like to visit. The big one on my bucket list would be Israel and the Middle East. If I had my way, I would just want to travel from the west coast of Northern Africa to the east coast of southern Asia. Pretty much, that area of the world intrigues me the most. The food, the culture, the deep history that is in those regions of the world. It's where civilization itself started in the Sumerian and Mesopotamian regions. I am a firm believer in learning from history and learning its translations into the modern day culture. For sure, my number one place and area of the world I'd like to go to one day.

The second place would be a small country in Europe. Who wouldn't want to go to Paris, Italy, and Greece? All full of wonderful travel experiences and beautiful historical sites. For me, there is just something about Amsterdam that I would love to see. The different museums, villages, and historical sites interest me. Show me anywhere in Europe that had to do with World War 2, and I want to be there. Any war or artifact of history anywhere in the world never ceases to amaze me, but Amsterdam is a beautiful place I would love to visit one day.

The third place on my bucket list would be the wonderful Patagonia in which shares its parts in Argentina and Chile. One time in my Spanish class, my teacher showed us pictures of this place in South America I had never heard of before. The photos she showed the class seemed random and somewhat boring to others, but it marked me till this very day as a place I would love to see for myself. She said it was the first time she had experienced two different seasons in one place. Before the newfound knowledge of this jaw-dropping place, I only knew Patagonia as a clothing brand (Patagonia Outdoor Clothing & Gear). It is a very good brand, kind of expensive, but that is all I knew of Patagonia at the time. Now this place has become a destination I long to visit one day! Thanks, Senora Eckerson.

A final country I would like to visit one day is to travel all across the country of America. There are so many places overseas that are wonderful and amazing, but there are also so many right here in the U.S of A. I could name a grip of the many destinations that I would love to travel to. To the different states, Wildlife parks, and even the monuments that are unique to different cities. Here are a few to name: Sequoia National Park, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, and even Denali National Park in Alaska! The whole state is full of some of the greatest scenic beauties in the world, just road trips away. That concludes just a few of the places I would love to visit, but until then, I will enjoy what I can of their culture and history from right here in Peoria, Arizona.
